BPW Japan is a specified non-governmental organization, and is a member of International Federation of Business and Professional Women (BPW International).
BPW International is an NGO, which has a right of general consultation as an advisory body of the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.

- Promotion of friendship and mutual understanding among domestic and international working women,
